The Three Revolutions Project published the first two volumes of the project’s research work

The Three Revolutions project team is proud to announce the publication of the first two volumes  which summarize the work of the past 3 years. The volumes Three Revolutions: Mobilization and Change in Contemporary Ukraine I. Theoretical Aspects and Analyses on Religion, Memory, and Identity and Three Revolutions: Mobilization and Change in Contemporary Ukraine I.   and Three Revolutions: Mobilization and Change in Contemporary Ukraine II. An Oral History of the Revolution on Granite, Orange Revolution, and Revolution of Dignity will be available for purchase from Ibidem Verlag publishing house and from Columbia University Press catalogue from November 2019.

The project team was set to provide a multidimensional analysis of the events in Ukraine. In order to identify the causes of the mass protest movements in Ukraine and their impact on Ukraine and the wider region of Central and Eastern Europe. The Project traced the historical sources of Ukraine’s contestation politics and dived into such issues as identity politics, nation building transition process and beyond. To that effect, the Project team concentrated its efforts on the three major protests in Ukraine’s recent history (Revolution on Granite of 1990, Orange Revolution of 2004-2005 and Revolution of Dignity of 2013-2014) and organized unprecedented international symposia, collected oral history testimonies and conducted archival research and secondary sources analysis.

At present, the Three Revolutions team is woring on the third and final volume of our publication,. The volume will present the collection of arhcive documents related to the three Ukrainian Revolutions and will be published in 2020.
